Join us for the IIT College of Science lecture titled "Science: The Raw Fuel of Innovation," presented by Dean Russell Betts.

There can be little argument that discoveries in basic science have led to remarkable innovations with profound impact on the world we live in and on our lives. This lecture will explore how this happens and how we can think about ensuring that this process continues into the future. The topic will be explored through a discussion of specific innovations, e.g., MRI, etc., as well as the processes, the environments, and the people that made them happen.
